Having “grown up” in his grandfather's pharmacy, Alexander Schall became interested in herbs and medicinal applications at an early age. The alternative practitioner, who has been practising since 2002, initially focused mainly on traditional European medicine. Since 2011, the focus has been on working with medicinal mushrooms. This important area of TCM has long been ignored in Europe, but is now attracting more and more public interest. Since 2012, he has been giving lectures throughout Europe and training doctors, pharmacists, alternative practitioners and therapists. In Germany, he mainly works for the companies Hawlik Gesundheitsprodukte GmbH, Hennig Arzneimittel GmbH and GEHE Pharma GmbH. He has also given lectures in collaboration with Apotheken Depesche and Medfora GmbH. In 2018, he was invited to speak at Expopharm/Pharma-World on the topic of “Immune modulation through polysaccharides from medicinal mushrooms”. In fall 2023, Alexander Schall was engaged as a guest speaker for the annual symposium of the AGeP, a purely medical event, in Bad Wörishofen, where he held a three-and-a-half-hour workshop on medicinal mushrooms. He also regularly lectures abroad on the possible applications of medicinal mushrooms. These include Austria, Spain, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Switzerland. Depending on the specialist audience and requirements, training courses are available for both small groups and large auditoriums. From 45-minute presentations to full-day seminars - the topic of medicinal mushrooms offers a wealth of interesting information. Alexander Schall works in his practice with many classic alternative medical preparations, high-dose vitamin infusions and... medicinal mushrooms.
