Dr. Trutnovsky obtained her diploma in acupuncture from the Austrian Medical Association (ÖÄK) in 2002, followed by further additional training: the ÖÄK diploma in psychosocial medicine in 2003, the ÖÄK diploma in psychosomatic medicine in 2010 and finally the ÖÄK diploma in palliative medicine in 2022.  After completing her doctorate at the Karl-Franzens University of Graz, she completed a Master of Medicine in Sexual Health at the University of Sydney, Australia. Her professional career has included training at various Styrian hospitals and specialist training at the University Women's Hospital in Graz, where she completed her habilitation in gynecology and obstetrics in July 2014. After two research stays at the University of Western Sydney/Australia, Dr. Trutnovsky has been an associate professor at the Medical University of Graz since 2017. Her clinical and scientific specialties include urogynaecology, gynaecological pain syndromes and gynaecological oncology.
