Dr Peter Schneider has been Head of Research and Development (R&D) at Sanumtec GmbH since July 2023. Since 2021, he has also been contributing his expertise to consulting activities for Dr Niedermaier GmbH. In 2020, he successfully completed his training as a health and nutrition consultant at the Swiss Academy of Naturopathy and from 1995 to 2022, Dr Schneider founded and managed Sension GmbH, a laboratory company in Augsburg, and acted as managing partner. Among other things, he focussed on orthomolecular medicine in diagnostics. Prior to this phase, he was head of department at ELIAS (laboratory diagnostics) in Freiburg from 1993 to 1995.Dr Schneider gained international experience as a postgraduate researcher (project manager) at the University of California at Davis from 1990 to 1993. He began his academic career with a doctorate at the Technical University of Munich from 1986 to 1990, where he also worked as a research project manager and lecturer. He had previously studied biology at the Technical University of Munich from 1978 to 1985 and successfully completed his diploma and state examination. He also completed his A-levels in 1978. His extensive research work and expertise are reflected in several articles published in specialist journals and scientific books, including Elsevierverlag.
